Project Overview:
We were originally commissioned to develop a suite of real-estate investing software, which later blossomed into us managing the whole online infrastructure for the company. We used a modified version of an open source content management system and developed various client-specific plugins to be used on the site. The applications within the site require authentication to be accessed and user accounts are sold to students at each and every Markus Group real-estate investment training camp across Canada.
The online software suite allows subscribers to create legal real-estate contracts by simply answering a page of pertinent questions related to the contract they wish to create. Once they've entered their data, the application will then merge their data into a legally authorized contract. Another plugin allows the user to quickly calculate annual profit/loss on a property based on inputted values for costs and revenues.
We have also created the Markus Group main website as well as a few other online projects for them including an inter-office customer management database that the staff can use to manage their clients. This tool is invaulable to track sales performance as well as future potential marketing opportunities.
Unfortunately, another project we developed for the Markus Group - something of a real estate match-making service for potential renters & investors - was shelved for various administrative purposes. The project may return in the future.
