Project Overview:
Our objective was to implement a cost-effective solution for the local non-profit hockey organization in our hometown, Hamilton, Ontario. We elected to utilize an open source content management system as it would keep costs down, while still allowing for a powerful and easy to use website that the volunteer staff could maintain themselves.
Secondary objectives we later worked on were walkthroughs and free assistance to instruct the maintainers, message forums for site users and league members and site advertising plans to generate revenue that would in turn pay the hosting bill. |
